Ubuntu Football holistically invests in elite footballers with the vision that they would go on to become citizens of significance in their families, communities and wider society.
Ubuntu is a fully functioning professional football academy with globally recognised football training, quality education in a no-fee, independent school, deep formation of boys’ and girls’ character, and an academy family home to youth from historically disadvantaged backgrounds. Ubuntu’s desire is to unleash their full, God-given potential in every area, prepare them for platforms of influence in and out of football, and help them discover their purpose.
For fourteen years, Ubuntu has been investing in the lives of young people and has seen over 45 boys and girls receive call ups to Youth National Camps, 32 players awarded contracts in the PSL since 2018, 4 players have received contracts in the European leagues and 22 students have moved to the US on $3.4 million worth scholarships.
In addition, Ubuntu has a 100% Matric pass rate in the past five years (with 71% of those receiving a Bachelor Pass) and has seen a number of graduates become community leaders as teachers, coaches and police officers in recent years.
